Our Story

 As a mum of three wonderful children, each with special needs, I know first-hand how vital it is to find a childcare provider you can genuinely trust—someone who cares for your little ones with the same love and attention you do. That personal experience, combined with over 22 years working in education across mainstream schools and specialised provisions, is what inspired me to open Nurturing Hands Childcare. My goal has always been to create a warm, safe, and supportive space where children feel valued and empowered to thrive.

Our approach goes beyond simply offering childcare. We focus on nurturing young minds, encouraging creativity, and fostering confidence and independence in every child. We pride ourselves on working closely with families, understanding their unique needs, and providing personalized care that supports each child’s development. I’m especially passionate about inclusive education, ensuring that every child—no matter their abilities—feels seen, supported, and able to flourish.

Beyond Nurturing Hands, I also run a charity dedicated to supporting children with special needs. This work fuels my commitment to giving back to the community and collaborating with wonderful local organizations like Cash for Kids, Salford Hubs, and CareYourWay Eccles, Middleton & Salford. Together, we aim to make a positive difference for families in our area.
